"...I also am a member of the Troy High School National Honor Society and I also volunteer at a local doctor’s office on the weekends. School-wise, I guess I am one of those students who wants to succeed and try to make a difference in at least one persons life."

"Well today was a crazy day. I donated blood for the first time...I didn’t get to do it last year, and I was really upset so I wanted to do it this year. I feel good, even though it hurt a little, but it doesn’t matter ‘cause my one pint can save 4 peoples lives. That’s why I did it.....to know that I can help someone."

"Spring break was awesome, it was classic! Met 4 guys from the University of Delaware....hated to leave, feel as if I had known them forever...oh well, need to get all the sleep I can. Thanks for everything, and thanks for keeping everyone safe."

"Today we had an AIDS assembly at school. The woman who talked was HIV positive and so was her son. Her son Michael died a month ago of AIDS. It was so sad but so realistic. She was very inspirational and touching. I hope she can touch many other people as she did me. Please, bless all of us, and especially Michael who is in heaven with you and the angels."
